What HCO holds.
Held by Broker Partner Zach Sikes. Underpins HCO Leasing's authority to conduct leasing and management activities in Oklahoma.
Verify via the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission public license lookup.
HCO Leasing carries E&O insurance covering professional liability for property management activities.
Standard commercial general liability coverage.
We follow Fair Housing law — strictly.
HCO Leasing complies with the federal Fair Housing Act and Oklahoma fair housing law. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, or any other protected class.
Our tenant screening process uses objective criteria — credit score, income-to-rent ratio, rental history, criminal background within legal limits — applied consistently to every applicant for the same property. We do not consider photos, names, or any indicator of protected-class status in screening decisions.
If you believe HCO has violated Fair Housing law, the escalation path is below. You may also file directly with HUD (the Department of Housing and Urban Development) or the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office.
If something's wrong, here's how to escalate.
Most issues resolve at level 1. We document the path explicitly because vague "contact us" is the most common way property managers avoid accountability.

- · Oklahoma Attorney General — for consumer protection concerns
How HCO handles conflicts with its sister businesses.
HCO Leasing is owned by the same partners who operate Homestead & Co (real estate brokerage) and Liberty Link Group (insurance). That creates real potential conflicts.
Our approach: disclose, don't require. When we recommend a sister business, the relationship is disclosed. Owners and tenants are never required to use Homestead & Co for buying or selling property, and never required to use Liberty Link Group for insurance — those choices are independent and free of management consequences either way.
If you ever feel pressured to use a sister business, that's grounds to escalate.
